Turnover at restaurants, cafes and bars increased 5.6 percent year on year to 812.3 billion rubles ($25 billion) in the January-October period, the State Statistics Service said Friday, Interfax reported.

Turnover at eating and drinking establishments amounted to 93.7 billion rubles in October alone, up 6.7 percent year on year. The highest growth rate this year was 7.3 percent in February.

The sole publicly held Russian company in this sector, Rosinter Restaurants Holding, is no longer providing monthly sales revenue dynamics. For the January-September period, Rosinter sales revenues increased 3.4 percent year on year to 7.5 billion rubles, while the market grew 5.5 percent, the statistics service said. Among Rosinter's restaurant chains are Il Patio, Planet Sushi and T.G.I. Friday's.
