Moscow Road Closings for June 12 Holiday

Several roads in central Moscow will be closed in connection with rallies, marches and other events to be held on the June 12 Russia Day holiday.

The following streets will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Strastny Bulvar, Petrovsky Bulvar, Rozhdestvensky Bulvar, Sretensky Bulvar, Bolshoi Putinkovsky Pereulok and Prospekt Akademika Sakharova.

From 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. closures will affect Ulitsa Ilinka, Ulitsa Varvarka, and Ulitsa Nikolskaya.

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. police will close Olimpiisky Prospekt from Ulitsa Trifonovskaya to Ulitsa Durova.

Both autos and public transport will be restricted on the affected streets.

Red Square will be closed until the evening of June 12, having been closed since Friday, June 8. The Kremlin will also be closed to tourists June 12.
