Grain Exports Falling

Russia will cut grain exports by almost 67 percent to 1 million tons in May, compared with 2.88 million tons in April, Interfax reported Wednesday, citing Arkady Zlochevsky, president of the Russian Grain Union.

Between May 1 and 16 of this year, Russia exported 473,000 tons of grain, including 358,000 tons of wheat, 50,000 of barley and 30,000 of corn, Zlochevsky said.
