Estonia OK's Trafficking Act

TALLINN, Estonia — Estonia has unanimously approved measures that will strengthen punishment for human trafficking in the nation.

Estonia was under pressure from the United States to address the issue, and on Wednesday Parliament voted 91-0 in favor of amending the penal code.

The bill makes human trafficking a crime and recognizes the sexual exploitation of minors.
