State Official's Brother Held

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan — Tajikistan's top corruption fighter said Tuesday that the brother of a senior security official has been detained on suspicion of drug trafficking.

Anti-corruption agency chief Fattokh Saidov said Faridun Umarov, the brother of the deputy head of the security agency, was suspected to be part of a trafficking syndicate dismantled last week that also included several law enforcement officers.
