Kadyrov Statue Vandalized

A monument to Akhmad Kadyrov, father of Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov, was vandalized in Moscow's Yuzhnoye Butovo district early Sunday, Interfax reported.

"Three unidentified people fished out two pigs' heads from a plastic bag, put them on the base of the monument and fled," a source told the agency.

Former Chechen President Akhmad Kadyrov was assassinated in 2004.
