U.K.-Russian Ties Warming

The relations between Russia and Britain "are gradually going back to normal," Russian Ambassador to Britain Alexander Yakovenko said.

"British investors have confirmed the priority of Russia for their interests, and the bilateral relations are gradually going back to normal," Yakovenko said at the opening of the Russian banking forum held under the aegis of the Adam Smith Institute in London earlier this week, Interfax reported.

Russia "believes that opportunities for broadening business cooperation with the U.K. and British investors will only grow," he said.
