Tajiks Kill Fugitive

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan — Tajik government forces have killed a militant who was among a group who fled from a high-security prison last summer.

The Interior Ministry said Sunday that Juma Ibrokhimov was killed the previous day along with a local accomplice during a security sweep in the remote and mountainous Rasht valley in the center of the Central Asian nation.
