Bus Driver Dies at Wheel

Passengers of a commuter bus in the Omsk region had to take over the wheel after their driver died of a heart attack right on the highway, Interfax reported Monday, citing local prosecutors.

The bus was in danger of running into a ditch, but passengers managed to prevent an accident, the report said. About 20 people were on the bus, and no one was injured, Komsomolskaya Pravda said. The unidentified 54-year-old driver died instantly.
