Mikhail Prokhorov’s RBC Information Systems said Thursday that it is seeking to create an inexpensive phone service based on Quiet Internet Pager technology that could take incoming calls.
“We have all the necessary infrastructure to offer such a service, apart from number capacity,” said Mikhail Gurevich, general director of RBC. Talks are under way with a number of operators on the use of some of their unassigned numbers, he said.
