Deripaska’s Strabag Option

Strabag said Friday that “all scenarios” were available regarding billionaire Oleg Deripaska’s Basic Element regaining a 25 percent stake in Central Europe’s biggest construction company.

“Basic Element has told us that they want to exercise the option,” said Diana Klein, a spokeswoman for Strabag.

Die Presse newspaper reported Friday that Basic Element was in talks with Strabag to extend the option past the Oct. 15 call date, citing industry sources in Moscow.
