6 1/2 Years for Head-Butt

A 41-year-old resident of the far eastern city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison for head-butting a traffic police officer who pulled him over for drunk driving, Interfax reported Thursday.

The assault, which took place in May, left the officer with a concussion and a huge blood clot on the forehead, an Investigative Committee spokeswoman told Interfax.
