Some Internet users faced problems visiting The Moscow Times’ web site on Thursday after Google identified malware at an advertisement service partner of the site.
Internet users with Firefox and Safari web browsers saw alerts reading “Warning — visiting this web site may harm your computer!” or “Reported Attack Site!” starting Wednesday evening. Microsoft Explorer users were not affected. The web site’s staff were working with Google technical staff to fix the problem.
