Lexus Driver Surrenders

The driver of a Lexus sedan who killed two Kyrgyz natives on a crosswalk in southern Moscow over the weekend surrendered to the authorities Wednesday, RIA-Novosti said, citing police.

The man had his lawyer contact police prior to surrendering, a police spokesman said. He did not specify the driver’s name or the charges he was facing, but said the man “expressed his regret” over Sunday’s incident.
