Natural Gas Venture Formed

Romania, Hungary, Georgia and Azerbaijan agreed to form a liquefied natural gas venture Tuesday, securing the transit of energy from the Caspian Sea to central European customers.

The countries signed an agreement in Baku that includes the construction of two LNG terminals as part of the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania-Hungary Interconnector project, Romanian President Traian Basescu said in a statement.
