LUKoil’s Future in Africa

LUKoil may have more potential petroleum in West Africa than in West Siberia, Russia’s biggest production region, which is going into decline, deputy chief Leonid Fedun said Wednesday.

“We will conduct unprecedented geological exploration in the next two years, drilling up to 13 wells,” he said. LUKoil will also look to Asia for growth in the next few years.
