H1 Trade Surplus Spikes

The trade surplus rose to $93.9 billion in the first half of the year, $41.1 billion more than in January through June last year, the Federal Customs Service said in a statement Friday.

Exports reached $188.8 billion, a 52 percent increase from a year earlier. Imports climbed 32 percent to $95 billion.
