A suicide bomber who blew himself up in a car at a military camp in the Dagestani town of Buinaksk was identified as Zamir Terekbayev, 26, a Stavropol region resident, Interfax reported Tuesday.

Terekbayev’s body was nearly destroyed in the blast, but he was identified by his fingerprints, collected when he was drafted into the army in 2002, the report said.

Sunday’s blast killed four soldiers and injured 35 others. Investigators and army officials have accused camp commanders of neglecting security measures to prevent such attacks.
