ROSTOV-ON-DON, Southern Russia () -- A serial killer who murdered eight women during a four-month crime spree was sentenced to death by a city court here, a news report said Wednesday.
Vladimir Mukhankin, 36, pleaded guilty, gave detailed accounts of his crimes and then thanked the judge after the sentence was handed down in the southern Russian city, the daily Komsomolskaya Pravda reported.
