Jordan in Fall League

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona () -- The Arizona Fall League, which sometimes has only a half-dozen fans at a game, has sold out all 2,200 of its season tickets this year -- thanks largely to a rookie outfielder who barely hits .200.

Michael Jordan, the former National Basketball Association star who hit .202 at the Chicago White Sox's Double-A affiliate in Birmingham, Alabama, was to start play Thursday with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the six-team league.

Phoenix Suns forward Charles Barkley anticipates a large turnout to see his former NBA compatriot: "I'm going to go watch him a few times, but you know it's going to be a madhouse (today)."
