A husky puppy who was left alone in a Russian car while its owner was running an errand on Tuesday caused a series of fender benders around a parking lot in the southwestern Siberian city of Barnaul.

The dog, waiting for its master to get out of a construction goods store, started to impatiently jostle around in the Zhiguli's front seat and somehow managed to put the vehicle in motion, the Interfax news agency reported.

The car crashed into several other parked cars before it slowed to a standstill. The dog was unharmed in the incident, and now its owner's insurance company is deciding how to handle the damage, the report said, citing police.
