Header Saves Oldham

Darren Beckford headed in Rick Holden's corner kick with five minutes to play to give Oldham a 1-1 home draw with Leeds in an English Premier League game.

Beckford, who came on as a substitute in the second half on Monday, was unmarked by Leeds as he nudged the ball past goalkeeper John Lukic.

Leeds had taken the lead in the second minute when Gary McAllister's free kick from the edge of the penalty area curled into the top corner of the net.
