Three-times Wimbledon champion Boris Becker looks set to return to Davis Cup action for Germany after a break of nearly two years when the holders take on Spain in July's quarterfinals.
German tennis federation chief Claus Stauder indicated strongly on Tuesday that Becker would be part of the team to play the Spaniards at home in Halle just over a week after the end of the Wimbledon championships.
"I sincerely hope and also believe that he will come back," Stauder said. "I will do everything I can to get him in the team."
