Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg will meet with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Monday at an undisclosed location to discuss cooperation on startups at the Skolkovo innovation hub, Medvedev's spokeswoman Natalya Timakova told Interfax on Friday.

It was first reported Tuesday that preparations for such a meeting were being made.

Timakova said Zuckerberg and the prime minister, a self-professed technology buff, would discuss cooperation in the areas of technology and startup companies at Skolkovo.

She did not say where the meeting would take place. Forbes Russia, which first reported the planned talks on its website Tuesday, said Zuckerberg might meet Medvedev at the Digital October Center, in the former Red October chocolate factory, on Oct. 1 and then visit Skolkovo the next day.

The magazine, citing a government source and a source close to Skolkovo, said Zuckerberg also would have meetings with Deputy Prime Ministers Arkady Dvorkovich and Vladislav Surkov.
