Two waitresses were shot dead in a cafe in Russia’s Chechnya republic on Thursday evening, the regional branch of the Investigative Committee said in a statement Friday.
Three armed men in masks burst into the Lolita cafe in the Chechen capital Grozny and shot the waitresses, aged 45 and 55, who both died at the scene, the statement said.
They then fled the scene in a Lada Priora car. A murder investigation has been launched, the Investigative Committee said.
