Pirelli, Rosneft Strike Deal

Pirelli and Rosneft signed a deal Thursday under which the Italian company will market and sell its tires at Rosneft's gas stations, Interfax reported, citing Rosneft.

The agreement was signed by Rosneft President Igor Sechin and Pirelli CEO Marco Tronchetti Provera.

The companies will set up a working group to discuss joint marketing programs to promote their products and logistics.

One of the areas where the companies will cooperate is the Krasnodar region, where the 2014 Winter Olympics will be held, Rosneft said. (MT)

We, the journalists of The Moscow Times, refuse to be silenced. Our commitment to providing accurate and unbiased reporting on Russia remains unshaken. But we need your help to continue our critical mission.

Your support, no matter how small, makes a world of difference. If you can, please support us monthly starting from just $2. It's quick to set up, and you can be confident that you're making a significant impact every month by supporting open, independent journalism. Thank you.
