Palfinger, the world’s maker of truck-mounted cranes, is focusing on acquisitions in Russia after announcing on Monday that it bought an 80 percent stake in Equipment Technology.
“The acquisition of Equipment Technology completes our diversification plan for the Americas,” CEO Herbert Ortner said in a telephone interview, adding that the company is now concentrating on “organic growth” in Europe and the Americas.
