Weekend getaway @ organic M2 Farm

VACATION - ORGANIC FOOD - ANIMALS - FAMILY FUN – FARM LIFE - ORGANIC SHOP

The recently opened M2 Farm is the perfect weekend getaway, only 2 hours away from Moscow! We're so happy we discovered this beautiful organic farm, because it is perfect for a few days of vacation with your family or friends. The houses are located on the farm, but are secluded from the stables in a kind of resort arrangement at a private swimming lake, with a nice maintained garden, a big playground and surrounded by a lot of nature.

The houses are all new, well equipped and decorated in a modern Scandinavian style; with a big open kitchen-, dining- and living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. All appliances are high-end standard, and on each porch, you have an outdoor terrace and your own grill, so it's perfect for some BBQ-ing. Just don’t forget to bring some mosquito spray, if you want to enjoy long summer nights outside.

We like the ecological concept of the farm, since they pay a lot of attention to organic animal husbandry and agriculture farming according to European standards. The farm is well maintained, really modern and even so big that each animal breed has their own stable complex.

The processing of the food is also directly handled on the farm. They have their own bakery, a diary plant, a brewery and more. All of them can be visited and it's really interesting to see how the food is processed. And of course you're allowed to try the delicious and fresh food and drinks!

They also offer many more activities like donkey riding, banya, buggy rides, squat rides, skidoo, boat trips and more. All can be pre-booked on your reservation or reserved later at the farm. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. Even breakfast and lunch can be ordered, if you don’t want to cook by yourself.

If you do prefer to cook by yourself we recommend you to buy the food fresh from their own farm shop. We love their Kölsch (beer), the homemade lemonade, the cottage cheese bread, the eggs, the goat cheese and the meat, so definitely try these!

M2 also has an online shop, plus five stores all over Moscow, where you can buy their organic products from the farm, of which almost all products are marked with the EU organic seal - the green leave- . Even though it’s a bit more expensive we love their products. Especially now we have seen how it's produced, we are happy to spend a bit more money for high quality organic food. We arranged a 10% discount on your first online order for you. Just enter the word “moscowliving” on your order in the field for promocodes and get 10% discount. So try it yourself and see if it's worth it!

The houses at the farm cost 10 000 rub/ night during the week and 15 000 rub/night on the weekend. Here we arranged a free tour of the farm and the production for you. Just mention the word “moscowliving” to their staff at your check-in and they will arrange a tour for you.

We hope we could inspire you to visit the farm and to try their fresh organic products.

Have fun trying it out!
