BEST ATMOSPHERE - COZY CITY VIBE - DELICIOUS COFFEE
Walking around Patriarch's Ponds gives you a cozy cosmopolitan city vibe. With new, cool places popping up every day and so many great options, it is sometimes difficult to choose where to go. We've listed our top 10 favorite cafes for you in this area, where you can get awesome coffee, breakfast or lunch and enjoy a great atmosphere.
1 - Uilliams
Uilliams is our favorite cafe in Patriarchy, because this place has it all. With its cozy interior, the cool open kitchen, great service and lovely outside seating in summer. We just can't get enough from the delicious coffee and the amazing food. We love to come here on weekends to enjoy the breakfast and dinner menu. But don't forget to make a reservation since its usually busy.
This bright, colorful place with its stylish interior is perfect for a cup of coffee, a good breakfast or just a delicious pastry from their house bakery. We always come here to buy our favourite Peruvian purple bread, which we highly recommend you to try. In summer the stylish outdoor furniture makes it even more fun to enjoy beeing outside and to watch the busy Malaya Bronnaya street. Don't froget to make a reservation.
The interior is a bit sterile, but the quality of the cakes, food and coffee is very good. In summer they have a nice outside bench, where you can meet with friends, enjoy the sun and watch influencers taking selfies.
Try the hamburgers for lunch!
And also their ice-cream, salted crackers, bread and mortadella are very good to bring home.
Nude is a small cafe with just a few tables. The industrial style together with the modern furniture, create an inviting atmosphere where its nice to meet friends or come for work. The coffee selection is quite extensive and delicious. They also offer breakfast and lunch. In summer you can sit in the little window, which they open up. And once a month they offer a great brunch buffet.
David B is more like a coffee shop, since you have to order at the counter from either inside or outside.
They do not have an extensive food menu, but an impressive coffee selection and we love to grab a quick coffee from their outside window with one of thir delicious oven fresh croissant.
With its shabby chic style, the atmosphere inside is a bit 'hipster' but really cozy.
This cafe is not far away from the park, but a bit more hidden. You have to walk into the Mmoma education centre on Yermolayevskiy and go to the first floor to enter it. The style of the cafe is simple, but nicely done, with the big concrete counter in the middle and its arty flair. The food and coffee are good and surprisingly affordable for this area. So definitely try their lunch menu!
Americano is a lovely and cozy cafe, with its wooden furniture and the shabby chic style. The cafe has many tables and some intimate corners to sit and meet with friends. We especially like their breakfast menu, the cakes and the coffee.
Americano belongs to the same restaurant group as "I love Cake" so the cake is the same, only a smaller selection. Enjoy!
The Surf cafe just opened this year. This brand has a few cafes around the city so you probably have seen the concept before. The style is more surfer and hipster inspired. They serve nice, healthy food and have an amazing coffee and milk selection. We would also categorize it more as a coffee shop with a small cozy sitting area in the back.
Atelier de Tartelettes is also a new cafe with its own fresh and different style. The high-end finishes, with the golden and pink walls make the cafe look super modern.
The coffee is tasty, but we are even more impressed by the huge organic french tea selection and the delicious mini cakes.
The seating area is a bit small with only four tables, but lovely.
If you're into sweets, this will be your heaven. The counter of cakes is impressive and you can find any kind of cake and sweets you could wish for. If you have no time to bake a birthday cake, we recommend you to buy it here.
The interior is not very special, but the quality of the sweets is outstanding.

A Message from The Moscow Times:
Dear readers,
We are facing unprecedented challenges. Russia's Prosecutor General's Office has designated The Moscow Times as an "undesirable" organization, criminalizing our work and putting our staff at risk of prosecution. This follows our earlier unjust labeling as a "foreign agent."
These actions are direct attempts to silence independent journalism in Russia. The authorities claim our work "discredits the decisions of the Russian leadership." We see things differently: we strive to provide accurate, unbiased reporting on Russia.
We, the journalists of The Moscow Times, refuse to be silenced. But to continue our work, we need your help.
Your support, no matter how small, makes a world of difference. If you can, please support us monthly starting from just $2. It's quick to set up, and every contribution makes a significant impact.
By supporting The Moscow Times, you're defending open, independent journalism in the face of repression. Thank you for standing with us.
