2 Russian Grannies Caught in Heroin Drug Heist

Two Russian pensioners have been detained in St. Petersburg after they were caught selling heroin, the local branch of the Interior Ministry said Friday in an online statement.

The city's police first detained a 74-year old woman on Monday after she was caught trying to sell 0.89 grams of heroin, the report said.

The next day, a 68-year-old woman living in a house on the same street, Babushkina Ulitsa, was detained for dealing 2.69 grams of the same drug.

Both women have been prohibited from leaving Russia, the statement said.
