Rotenberg Invested in Mall

Although the Amma Development company is the builder of the 400,000 square meter Aviapark shopping and entertainment mall planned for Khodinsky Field, the main investor is an organization associated with Arkady Rotenberg, the former judo partner of President Vladimir Putin, Vedomosti reported.

TPS, another firm majority-owned by Rotenberg, recently received permission to build the commercial and entertainment complex Slavyansky Bulvar in Moscow, which will have 136,000 square meters and is projected to cost $400 million.

The company also announced it will build a similar facility on a 2.5 hectare plot at the intersection of Khoroshyovskoye Shosse and 4th Magistralnaya Ulitsa.
