Armstrong to Build Plant

U.S. floor and ceiling manufacturer Armstrong World Industries is starting construction of a $100 million plant in a special economic zone on Wednesday.

Its chief Matthew Espe is arriving for the company's groundbreaking ceremony at the Alabuga zone in Tatarstan, Armstrong said in a statement.

The company plans to open the plant, which will have the capacity to produce 22 million square meters of ceiling tiles per annum, by the end of next year.
