Free Wi-Fi will increasingly penetrate the city, reaching every third city park by the end of this year, complementing plans to expand other Wi-Fi projects, a city official said.
A pilot project providing free Internet access on the metro's circle line is slated for expansion to cover all metro lines, Moscow's deputy head of information technology Andrei Belozerov said Tuesday, Interfax reported.
Moscow schools will also get an average of three Wi-Fi access points, and a pilot project has been launched providing free Wi-Fi on a bus route between Moscow and Zelenograd.
