Lisin Gets $138M Ship Loan

A unit of Vladimir Lisin's UCL Holding transportation company agreed to borrow $138 million from Gazprombank to build 10 oil tankers.

The vessels, which can carry crude and oil products simultaneously, will be built at UCL Holding's Okskaya Shipyard for delivery in 2012 through 2014, the transportation company said Tuesday. The loan is long-term, it said, without giving the maturity or interest rate.

UCL Holding's VBTH unit plans to upgrade its fleet with 20 RST27 tankers.
