Dvorkovich Likes Ruble as Is

A strong ruble is good for the economy, the Kremlin's top economic adviser Arkady Dvorkovich said Friday, a day after Prime Minister Vladimir Putin ordered monetary officials to review the currency's exchange rate.

"A strong ruble — this is good — the currency should be solid, it's good for any economy," Dvorkovich said, adding that, in his opinion, the Central Bank's forex policy has been balanced.
