26 Norilsk Pedophilia Cases

The Krasnoyarsk branch of the Investigative Committee opened new 26 cases against a convicted pedophile, accusing him of 90 more counts of sex with a minor, the agency reported on its web site Thursday.

The suspect, a 49-year-old Norilsk resident, served six years on similar charges, but was released on parole in 2005, the report said. He faces up to 20 years in prison over the new cases.

The man is accused of luring at least seven underage boys to his apartment where he showed them pornographic videos and had sex with them, the investigators said, adding that the check is ongoing.
