Gazprom Offers Joint Project

Gazprom and Vietnam Oil & Gas Group, known as PetroVietnam, could jointly develop a natural gas field in Russia's north, Gazprom Zarubezhneftegaz, its international projects unit, said on its web site Monday.

Gazprom offered the Severo-

Purovskoye deposit in the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district to its joint venture with PetroVietnam, called Gazpromviet. The field holds proven reserves of about 60 billion cubic meters.

In addition to projects in Vietnam, the two companies agreed to develop the Nagumanovskoye field in the Orenburg region in 2008.
