Uralvagonzavod on Severstal

Uralvagonzavod, the country’s largest railcar maker, will not purchase steel from Severstal because of high prices, chief executive Oleg Sienko told reporters in Thursday.

Sienko said Severstal was unwilling to negotiate on price, forcing Uralvagonzavod to seek alternative suppliers, possibly Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works.
