Putin Seeks Name for Puppy

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is asking Russians to name a puppy that he got as a present from the Bulgarian prime minister over the weekend.

Anyone can propose a male name for the Karakachan dog by filling out a form on Putin’s official web site.

The web site is not showing suggestions, but thousands of bloggers all over the Internet were proposing names Wednesday, with several  offering Yukos, in reference to the oil giant that was bankrupted by the state in a tax case widely seen as Putin-orchestrated punishment for its ambitious and now-jailed CEO, Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
