2,500 Rally in Bishkek

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan — A Kyrgyz opposition party rallied in Bishkek on Tuesday, accusing authorities of cheating it of seats in parliamentary elections and warning of possible upheavals in the country.

The protest was by some 2,500 supporters of the Butun Kyrgyzstan party, which placed sixth in the Oct. 10 vote. Only five parties won seats.
