A Stockholm court ruling to seize Russian state property in Sweden was put on hold after Russian authorities filed an appeal, a Kremlin spokesman said Friday, Interfax reported.
It is unclear when the appeal may be reviewed, he said.
A Swedish court last Monday ordered confiscation of Russian property worth $4.7 million at the request of German businessman Franz Sedelmayer, who cited a court ruling he won in Stockholm in 1998.
