WELLINGTON, New Zealand () -- Veteran winger John Kirwan has fired criticism at controversial coach Laurie Mains after being dropped from the New Zealand rugby union team to play Australia in Sydney on Aug. 17.
Kirwan said he felt he was being made a scapegoat for New Zealand's 18-18 draw with South Africa in Auckland last Saturday and said he doubted he would play under Mains again.
