Todashev Buried in Chechnya

GROZNY — The body of a man killed while being questioned in the U.S. about ties to a Boston Marathon bombing suspect has been buried in his native Chechnya nearly a month after his death.

Ibragim Todashev, 27, was fatally shot May 22 in Florida while being questioned by an FBI agent and two Massachusetts troopers.

Todashev's body was brought Thursday to Grozny and buried in a Muslim cemetery.

His father, Abdul-Baki Todashev, accompanied the body back from the U.S. After arrival in Grozny on a flight from Moscow, he said "My son is innocent."
