Japan to Promote Firms

TOKYO () -- Japan's Trade Ministry pledged to help Russian industry by promoting small to medium-sized firms, restructuring former public companies and stimulating exports, officials said Monday.


Japan's Trade Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto earlier presented First Deputy Premier Oleg Soskovets with a plan to bolster Russian industry, officials at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry told reporters.
