Gazexport Contract

The Russian state firm Gazexport has signed an agreement with the Slovakian company Kerametal to supply 5.75 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Slovakia in 1994, Interfax has reported.

The document also said Russia would increase annual gas supplies to Slovakia to 9-10 billion cubic meters by the year 2000.

Russia's natural gas exports to Slovakia totalled 5.7 billion cubic metres last year including 3.7 billion cubic metres as payment for the transit of 52 billion cubic metres to Western Europe, Interfax said in a report Thursday.
