Russia may lose control of some “sensitive” goods and dual-use technologies when a customs union with Belarus and Kazakhstan begins to function on July 1, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov said Tuesday, Interfax reported.
Under the union, customs controls along Russia’s borders with Belarus and Kazakhstan will be removed, leading to the “danger of a leak” of dual-use technologies through these countries to foreign buyers, Ivanov said.
