Art4.Ru displays installations by Ilya Kabakov in an exhibition titled "Memories in of a Communal Kitchen." The installation is made up of eight notice boards and eight display cases with mounted objects such as scissors, spectacles and buttons. Kabakov created it in 1992, a year after emigrating from the Soviet Union and it was previously displayed in the Musee Maillol in Paris. This notice board includes warnings to residents not to let their children play near the stove or hang dripping washing over the tables. A notice tells residents that they have to get up at 9 a.m. on Saturday to clean the yard.
