Photographer Todd Prince was born in Brooklyn, New York but later moved to Russia to work as a journalist and then a banker.



He has pursued his interest in photography since 2009 with most of his work focusing on everyday life in Russia.



The Moscow Times has gathered together a collection of Todd's work from his St. Petersburg Street Fashion project, for which he photographed ordinary people that he met on the city's streets.

Alexander is a jewelry photographer, but studied to be an engineer. His mother is a hairdresser and always cuts his hair, he said.

Vasily, 24, is a history teacher.

Grigory, 44, is a store director.

Vlad, 21, is a DJ from St. Petersburg. Asya (R) grew up in the far eastern region of Kamchatka, and wants to study fashion design.

Anastasia lived in the southern city of Tolyatti and moved nine months ago to St. Petersburg. She works in a print shop.

Lada, 16, said her dad dresses just like her. She is learning the drums, following in the footsteps of her father. She also wants to learn Japanese.

Doctor Aybolit, 57 and a grandfather, said he has been singing reggae music for 35 years. He added with a laugh that the police will stop to take his photo, but only for fun and not because he has done anything wrong.

Kazbek, 18, is studying to become a Russian language teacher. His parents and grandmother also worked as teachers earlier on in their careers.

This man said his name is Mystic. He was on his way to meet friends near the Galeriya Shopping Mall.

Tatyana and Anna, 20, both came from Novosibirsk and study drawing in St. Petersburg.

Yevgeny, 18, says he likes to walk around St. Petersburg. He also likes 1920s American style.

Alexander, 63, is a retired diesel engineer who gives tours on the writer Alexander Grin. He said his hat, sunglasses and jacket are part of his image.

Daniel Cordier, a 95 year-old French writer, was visiting a museum in St. Petersburg.

Anastasia, 21, will soon receive a degree in chemistry.

Irina, 25, works as an image stylist for magazines.

Dmitry, 44, was playing blues music on Palace Square at 4:30 a.m.
