Belarus Offers Up Pipelines

Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko said Thursday that a Belarussian proposal to cede control of pipeline operator Beltransgaz and an oil refinery to Russia was a “positive signal” and worth considering.

Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko said earlier Thursday that his country would hand over the assets for domestic Russian prices for oil and gas, Interfax reported.
