Pamphlets criticizing Prime Minister Vladimir Putin that were seized by police ahead of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in mid-June were to be returned to their owners Thursday, Olga Kurnosova, managing director of the United Civil Front movement, told Interfax.
Police seized 100,000 copies of the pamphlet, titled “Putin. Results” and co-authored by opposition leader Boris Nemtsov, saying it had to checked for evidence of extremism. Kurnosova said no evidence was found.
